Terminal illness or end-of-life care can be difficult for everyone involved. It is a time when many confront their spirituality and must come to terms with their life, the way they did or didn’t meet their own expectations, and to seek peace. Karel has an affinity to people in this situation and is available to talk to them with respect regarding their life and the transition to come.
Having worked with so many people regarding life transitions, Karel has a unique perspective that can sometimes bring comfort to those who know they will soon be transitioning (dying). Being able to listen in non-judgment can be a great gift. She is available for hospital and hospice visits at the request of the family or patient.
